Inspiration

Before Sculpting my 14 facial animations, I searched on the Internet to acknowledge various facial expressions and how will the facial organs and muscles be affected. Then, I took selfies of myself posing those expressions. Finally, I selected 14 expressions: Awkward, Confused, Shocked, Helplessness, Distain, Indignation, Reviled, Sternness, Grieving, Sadness, Melancholy, Laughter, Amusement, and Satisfied.

Animating

Animating

Animation Includes keyframing expressions, bone structures of neck, position of eyeball and teeth. Light is also a key part I devoted a lot of time animating it. I divided the whole story into three parts, I delicately distributes all the expressions into these three parts so all the expression can be embedded into the storyline. Since the expressions contains reversal expressions, the main theme of my story is "Reversal". By putting into 3 different small stories, all 14 animated expression got their opportunities to be exhibited.

Editing

To combine the story and my expression, editing in Premier Pro is crucial. After days of rendering, I edited the rendered footage with pictures, screen recordings, life recordings and various sound fx I found on the web. Eventually, I finished this project.
